Recognising that there are a number of Non-Government Organisations in Gibraltar who need an internet presence, but that .gi domains can be a significant cost for organisations with a tight budget, we have established ngo.gi to fill the gap.

If you are a Gibraltar based NGO you can apply for one name FREE which can be used in conjunction with external webhosting. Both Gibtelecom and Sapphire Networks provide free webhosting with their normal accounts, and can also be used with most commercial web hosting services.

The ngo.gi namespace will be used exclusively for Gibraltar based organisations, and it is not available for individuals or commercial, Government, and political organisations who should register a normal .gi domain.
